Zupta money laundering back in UK Parly focus
I spent yesterday, the fourth anniversary of Madiba's death, in an appropriate environment, listening to edifying stories of members of the SA-UK Trust Network at the House of South Africa in London's Trafalgar Square.
His talks ranged from a British-based Durban that transformed street children into world-class surfers; through how a casual conversation at dinner led to the creation of an unprecedented NGO called 67 Mantas for the Day by Nelson Mandela.
My contribution, a half-hour talk entitled Dawn After The Darkness, will be in Biznews later today. Among those who received an honorable mention is the anti-apartheid icon, turned into the British lawmaker Lord Peter Hain, who has done so much to focus world attention on Zupta's corruption.
Hain will raise the ante once again in the House of Lords this afternoon. The last time he spoke, his speech made headlines in the world news. Hope is.
